Bio:
I'm a PhD student in Philosophy at Berkeley. My interests are mainly in ethics. I also have secondary interests in philosophy of language and normative decision theory. I studied in Pavia (BA), London, and Cambridge (MPhil) before coming to Berkeley.
Work:
2023. Promising by Normative Assurance. Preprint. The Philosophical Quarterly.
Interests:
Some topics that interest me at the moment include: modal knowledge (can it be known that it is likely raining?), normative powers (do we have them?), releasing (what does it take to release an obligor?), diachronic inconsistency (risk aversion and its problems). I've drafts on each of these; I'm happy to share! ☺️
